It may feel like a lifetime ago since we first opened our doors in 2008, and yet the time has flown by like it was only yesterday (after all, time flies when you’re having fun!).
We want to take this opportunity to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to all of the patients who have supported us over the last 17 years; the practice as it is today would be nothing without the amazing community of patients that continues to grow with us every year.
The faith and trust that our patients have for the treatment and service that our team provides means the world to us, and this is what keeps us striving to make Renmore Dental an even better practice for our patients year after year. The practice has truly transformed over the last 17 years, but some things never change- our commitment and dedication to providing the best possible service for our patients will always stay the same.
In honour of our 17th birthday, let’s take a trip down memory lane…
Where it all started…
Our practice was established in 2008, when Dr. Tony McLoughlin and Dr. Ronan Dunne decided to combine their many years of experience and genuine passion for dentistry to form Renmore Dental. Their aim was to create a friendly and comfortable environment, in which they would provide only the highest quality of dental care, and an exceptional patient experience.
Humble Beginnings
Of course back then, the practice wasn’t quite as modern as it is now! Those patients who have joined us within the last few years would only recognise our renovated building and state of the art surgeries, but back in ’08 things weren’t quite as high as stylish- that being said, it was the style at the time!
After years of building an amazing community of patients as well as expanding the team, it became clear that we had outgrew our original home, and it was time to create an even better version of Renmore Dental. Nearly 11 years after initially opening our doors, construction began on our new, expanded practice in 2019.
Time for a Transformation
It was certainly a challenge juggling a whole practice renovation while still doing our best to provide exceptional care to our patients, but we made it through to the other side!
Unfortunately, the challenges didn’t stop there- just as renovations were nearing completion and excitement was building at the thought of showcasing our new practice, the Covid-19 pandemic arrived, presenting a completely unprecedented set of challenges for all of us to face.
But together we overcame even the toughest of days, and it was finally time to welcome our wonderful patients and staff alike back for business as usual!
The Next Phase
It has been a few years now since we completed our renovations, but that certainly does not mean our transformation is complete! We are constantly changing, constantly trying to better ourselves for our team and our patients, with the same goal in our sights- to become a name within the Galway community that people can trust, can rely on, and enjoy visiting (easier said than done for a dentist!).
This is why we are never really finished growing as a practice- we have recently expanded our hygienist team to keep up with the incredible demand, with four dental hygienists now on hand to provide superb oral hygiene care, as well as several new associate dentists joining us in the near future- with a few more plans in motion that we are sure our patients will love!
Again none of this would have ever been possible without your continued support- and we look forward to supporting you in your dental care journey for a long time to come.
