Dental Exam FAQs
For most people, a dental check-up is recommended once every 12 months. However, some people may need a more frequent exam depending on what their dentist has recommended (for example, every six months). At Renmore Dental, your dentist will always let you know upon completion of treatment when it would be best for you to come back for your next examination.
Under the Treatment Benefit Scheme, some people are entitled to a full dental examination free of charge, once per calendar year. Your eligibility for this depends on the amount of PRSI contributions you have made within a particular time period. If you are unsure whether or not you are qualified for a free dental exam under the PRSI Treatment Benefit Scheme, contact us and our patient care team would be happy to check your eligibility for you.
If you would like to book a dental examination as a new patient, we kindly ask that you contact the practice by phone on 091 757 678 and we can get you registered as new patient with us. Once registered, we can then check availability for you and organise an appointment for a date and time that suits you best. If you would like to know more about what to expect as a new patient, visit patient information for more details.
